Head of Retail Banking of Citibank Singapore
Ashmita is the Retail Banking Head for Citibank Singapore, where she is responsible for the wealth management, and mortgage business growth in Singapore, and is leading the charge for Singapore “Win in Wealth” aspirations. She manages a team of 850+ people across sales (bankers, specialists, and acquisition teams), service (branch staff, service personnel), and product and wealth advisory management.
Ashmita joined Citi in 2002 in the Citigold Wealth Management team in India. She moved to the US in 2005 and worked across different roles including being part of the Global Consumer Strategy team and Global Retail Banking team. In 2016, Ashmita relocated to Singapore as Regional Head Segments for APAC Retail Bank where she drove the regional segment strategy.
