The art of AI maturity

In fewer than 70 years, artificial intelligence (AI) has evolved from a scientific concept to a societal constant.

Road to Next

Last year saw record-breaking tallies, and dealmaking this year has been unexpectedly resilient: At $12.9 billion across 461 deals per PitchBook, 2022 so far is not on pace to match last year’s record dealmaking numbers, but it compares favorably to previous years.

GLOBAL
Real Estate Report

Private real estate fundraising looks to be on the decline
based on data from the first half of 2022, which is a surprising
development given investors’ tendency to gravitate toward the
asset class during inflationary times. Only 123 funds were raised
in the first half of the year compared to 230 in H2 2021. While our
data collection efforts typically capture more funds over time,
larger funds tend to be recorded first, so capital raised may not
increase substantially when all is said and done. With just $63.2
billion raised in H1 2022 compared to $104.0 billion in H2 2021,
there is a good chance that we will not see real estate fundraising
climb as many had expected for 2022 as a whole.

Global Family Office Report 2022

The way forward for
family offices

Given the significant rise in the number of wealthy families around the world, it is no surprise that the family office has come into its own. The exponential growth of family offices has only heightened the demand for reliable information on the topic and best practices.

World Ultra Wealth
Report 2022

Executive summary:

In the first half of 2022, the global ultra high net worth (UHNW) population fell by 6%, to 392,410 individuals. This represents a sharp reversal from 2021 and the first downturn in UHNW numbers since 2018, as wealth portfolios were hit by shockwaves across the global economy, triggered by the war in Ukraine. Following historical highs in recent years, combined net worth fell by 11%, to $41.8trn. It will be a bumpy road in the near term.
